And one more thing

Money will not buy more time
So much for a poet to find, in these seasons of life
I hide, and I try, and I bury these lies
To satisfy and to come close
The love and beautiful to hold
Who am I to chase value and succumb to pride
When the downfall of tears, tenderly cries
Out loud and on the streets of night
Where were you, and how come it takes so long
To realize the good friend we have
To acknowledge the path inside
A love supreme to shine
That is how that goes
The day and night echoes
A changing tide from the light of our moon
The stars imagine where we are too
Do not lose sight in spirits and grab hold of the flesh
The dangerous perils of tearing our body down, rate second at best
To the truth untold
That is one thing to grow young, instead of the old
Ways of living we face our death
A slave to sin, the wages push on
Until the wave comes crashing against our home
And how did you build the foundation?
On sands with a castle made by man
Or did you find the rock, the cornerstone
Time cannot be bought or sold
And one more thing
Love will set you free, so hear me, here for free
These words of freedom I sing to thee, come sign and seal and reveal
What is meant to heal and unchain the heart
For the sake of each new day is just another chance
To dance within the Kingdom of God
Almost impossible to do, the joy of You
